Strengthening the Place We Call Home
The Poka Lambro Community Giving Initiative provides financial support to nonprofit organizations that contribute to the growth and development of our communities.
HOW IT WORKS
Eligibility Criteria
The initiative focuses on projects that benefit education, community well-being and technology access within our service area. We aim to award up to $7,500 each quarter to deserving organizations. Any nonprofits that fit these criteria are welcome to apply.
Note that we don’t fund:
- Large capital campaigns
- Political or religious groups
- For-profit businesses or startups
- Organizations that received $5,000 or more from Poka Lambro in the last two years
The Selection Process
All submissions must be received by the 15th of the last month in each quarter: March 15, June 15, September 15, and December 15. Submissions will be reviewed against the eligibility criteria and evaluated based on community impact, alignment with our mission, and financial need. The highest-scoring project will receive the donation, and the recipient will be publicly announced.
