2019 Poka Lambro Scholarship Recipients

 

Joshua Carter Abney – New Home High School. He is the son of Koby and Jennifer Abney. Carter plans to study Physical Education at Lubbock Christian University.

Zane Allen – Borden County ISD. He is the son of Phillip and Patricia Allen. After high school, Zane plans to attend Angelo State University, where he will study Agricultural Leadership.

Haleigh Archer – Klondike High School. She is the daughter of Brad and Ettie Archer. After graduating, she plans to study Animal Science at Angelo State University.

Madison Cole – Borden County ISD. Madison is the daughter of Ryan and Brenda Webb. She plans to attend Abilene Christian University, where she will study Communication Disorders.

Denton Shay Coleman – Klondike High School. He is the son of Janee Berry. Shay plans to study Sports Management at Hardon Simmons University.

Trent Collins – Borden County. He is the son of Billy and Christi Collins. Trent plans to attend Texas A&M University, where he will study Agribusiness and Agricultural Economics.

Rachel Fleenor – Dawson High School. She is the daughter of Jeff and Susanne Fleenor. Rachel plans to study Engineering at Texas Tech University.

Katie Gray – Borden County High School. She is the daughter of Glen and Lisa Gray. Katie plans to attend Abilene Christian University, where she will study Biology with a Pre-Med focus.

Paige Holbrooks – Borden County ISD. Paige is the daughter of Todd and Marlo Holbrooks. She plans to study Agricultural Communications at West Texas A&M University.

Gracen Key – Wellman-Union High School. She is the daughter of Glen and Gwynn Martin. Gracen plans to attend West Texas A&M, where she will study Psychology.

Jacy Rowden – Wellman-Union High School. She is the daughter of Jay and Stacy Rowden. After graduating, she plans to study Physical Therapy at Texas Tech University.

Celee Smith – New Home ISD. Celee is the daughter of Travis and Jodi Smith. She plans to attend Lubbock Christian University, where she will study Biology.

Each year Poka Lambro awards several $3,000 Scholarships. High School seniors whose parents or legal guardians are customers of Poka Lambro are eligible. Recipients are selected based on academic achievement, involvement in extra-curricular activities, and educator recommendations.
